Carrie Zawistowski is vice president of portfolio finance at Calibrate Ventures, where she provides strategic guidance and support to portfolio companies as they grow from their earliest stages to exit. With over a decade of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, due diligence and forecasting, Carrie will help Calibrate gain a deeper level of insight into its high-growth portfolio companies’ valuations and overall performance.
Prior to joining Calibrate, Carrie served as VP of accounting and corporate controller for Sphero, maker of programmable robotic toys and STEAM-based educational tools. She has extensive experience overseeing and scaling accounting and finance functions for early-stage companies, including venture capital fundraising, debt financing, investor relations and board reporting.
Earlier in her career, Carrie served as senior manager of revenue and contract accounting for Tendril Networks, a startup focused on utility customer analytics. She started her career at Big 4 accounting firm KPMG. When not digging deep into balance sheets, Carrie can be found spending time on Colorado’s beautiful hiking and biking trails with her husband and two children. She is a CPA who earned a BS in Finance and a MS in Accounting from the University of Colorado.
